The story, called "Thoughts Count Too", surrounds a young man, Julian, who is on the brink of leaving home in New York City for the first time in his life. He spends his day visiting his favorite places and people, building up to a final courageous and (hopelessly) romantic act.

The script centers on Johnny and Saul, 2 rambunctious 14 year old boys. Johnny bullies Saul and pressures him to lose his virginity. Saul has an idealized love for Stacy who turns out to be something other than what he expected.
Looking for an actor to play the role of:
- Brandon (16-18), a slightly older character who pressures Saul to smoke pot in the climatic scene. He is imagined as a semi-ghetto pretty boy. He is a sort of misguiding high school role model to the younger protagonist who is preparing to enter high school.

Synopsis

Phyllis is a 20-30 yr old (of Asian heritage)newspaper reporter. She is very attractive and uses her good looks to great advantage when interviewing men. She is as sharp-as-a-tack and eager to get a story...especially one that involves an old unsolved murder. She'll do anything for the big break, a scoop, a national presence, a Pulitzer or more. Don't get in her way or she'll run you down.

Vicky is 40-50 yrs old attractive, cold, rigid, headstrong, healthcare professional. She doesn't quite believe her husbands stories and is jealous of the other women in his life. She can't understand her husbands sense of urgency to delve into his past. She sees herself as the glue that holds the family together.

Detective Marty Reynolds is a 30-40 yr old member of the New York State Police. He is sharp, intuitive, and loyal. He is a good listener and follows orders. He is careful of his appearance but not to the point to stand out from others in the department.

Both Male and Female Models/Actors between 20 to 30 years of age wanted for a 10 minute info-mercial to shoot this week. Travel and meals included.

Detective Russell of the New York State Police is 40-50 yrs old and comes across as a folksy, hillbilly cop. However, he's far from that, actually he's very clever in what he does and can size up a person and a situation better than most.
He's like a badger, in that, once he gets you in his grip, there's no letting go. He's a strong looking man with a no nonsense atitude.

Male 10-14 yrs old of average height and weight, loves sports, daydreamer, charmer, intelligent, sensitive and quick to please.

Female 10-14 yrs old of average height and weight, head strong, clever, popular, and serious. She sees her role as a bridge between her parents.

Unknown forces lure Max to an old hotel he worked at in upstate New York. The hotel was also the scene of a murder which he may have been a part of as a teenager. The problem is, Max has no memory of ever working at the hotel. After lying to police, Max becomes a, "person of interest," in the murder.
Max is 50-60 yrs old, a bit overweight, a skeptic, doting father, loner, cerebral, proud, avoids difficult situations, trusting, and fearful of what he may have done.

The story follows a little girl and the psychological drama that ensues after her grandmother is killed my a serial murderer, Red Wolf. She becomes transfixed in finding this person and tracking him down as the killer's trail runs rampant.

Cinco Die Mayo! is a short thriller about karma and its consequences. There is some "blood" spilled, a "murder" committed, and some good old fashioned drinking going on. The Characters:
