Funding

I am hoping to start production of a short student film in late spring however I do not qualify for any grants and I do not really know anyone who is in a position to help with funding a film.

Local Police, Lt. Watkins (Tom Knight) and Sgt. Michaud (Joe Michaud), suspect Julia of their murders. but when Julia's brother Danny and C.S.I. Skyelar Cross join the investigation...

Have a son, who is an independent film producer in Hollywood, age 31. Ready to go to the next step. Has a blockbuster script for new movie, that he wants to produce and direct. Need approximately, 2 million in venture/angel capital for the movie.

Lance Lanfear, 11 years experience in Hollywood, produced his first film Jake's Closet, now available at all video stores and netflix.

Will give equity/share and rights to be named executive producer for the 2 million in venture capital.

Any suggestions to help with financing this film would be greatly appreciated.

I am 14 years old and I do have the ability to create a short cinematic looking film. The only problem is we need $500 to put towards getting a boom pole, a better boom microphone than we have, and some scenes in a grocery market. I have been making $25 a week but we need to try to get the money to be filming this summer. I also thought about product placement but I don't know really how to get companies to believe I am being completely serious about filming this. Does anybody know how I can get some money?
