An Acting Studio that seeks to not only train TALENT but also develop TALENT and provide performance opportunities on the BIG SCREEN!

Debra Crosby's A Quest Actors Studio acting students will prepare for the exciting opportunity for actual casting projects that Debra Crosby will be producing and/or casting for: including commercials, web-TV and short films. A series of short films has been produced monthly by Debra Crosby that started in the early
fall 2008.

You’re Invited!

The annual holiday party for the Rhode Island Film Collaborative will host filmmakers, producers, actors and fans of independent film from throughout the region this year on Saturday, December 6th at Kay Studios.

The theme of the event is a “Black and White” party. That means all participants are encouraged to wear either black or white clothing – or a mixture. The decorations will be Black and White too – so will the movies and the food.

TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund Call for Entries

The TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund will provide up to $170,000 in support of innovative and compelling filmmaking that explores scientific, mathematical, and technological themes and storylines, or a leading character who is a scientist, engineer, innovator or mathematician in fresh ways.

We are seeking exceptional narrative work of all genres (except science fiction or fantasy) with scientifically accurate themes or characters.

Ann Baker will be a special guest at Carter Thor Studios on Monday,November 17th at 6pm. Carter Thor Studios(http://carterthorstudio.com, http://www.thoreast.com) is an ongoing,weekly acting class that's located at 3 Church Street, 2nd Floor, in Harvard Square. The fee for non-studio members is $20, which allows you to attend the Ann Baker talk at 6pm and to audit the regular acting class which usually lasts until 9:30pm. All fees will be donated to the charity of Ann Baker's choice.
