An Emerson student film, Touch, is looking for a Mexican/LatinAmerican actress (20-35) and a Asian actor (16-28).

ISABELLA (20-35), Mexican/Latino, who had bad memories in her childhood and came to the States. She goes to a massage house and starts to seeing her heart again through the deep conversation with the blind masseur.

LIN (16-26), blind Chinese who came to the states when he was 11. He loves imagining the world and shows Isabella a different angle to see the world.

Camera Person with a quality film camera needed to work on a short film to be shot on three separate Saturdays ASAP. "Brownsville" tells the story of an aging and messed up organized crime henchman who comes to a crossroads in his life when he is ordered to carry out a hit on one of his oldest friends. Locations are in and around the Boston area. It will be a very fun project with a good group of people and, who knows what it could lead to?

Filmmakers must be residents of the US. If selected to tour, filmmakers receive a stipend and per diem. Travel expenses and accommodations are covered by On Screen/In Person.

I have an associate who is looking for a production company to assist in leveraging a project that would set up a slate of films to be made in New England.

This sructure would be able to take advantage of the 30% tax credit program in Connecticut. It will also add much needed jobs that the CT Film Workforce project is prepared to fill.

I'm also looking for another project that needs a high concept script in the $3-5M range.

I'm looking for people who do creative hobbies (writing, photography, drawing, painting, sound/voice fx) to create multimedia narratives.

No rules, beyond using all this media to put together sequential narratives. Maybe you think it'd be cool to create a novel with voice actors and sfx, and serialize it over the web as a podcast, the way serials used to be printed. Maybe you want to mix sfx and stills/paintings in a narrative made of stills (La Jetee.)

You'll even receive a character, prop, line of dialogue and genre to incorporate into your movie. And by the end of this seat-of-your pants, frenzied filmmaking fun with your friends, you'll be able to say something most never will-"I made a movie for a national audience."

Actor needed on very short notice- Shoot is scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, October 1st.
Please do not respond if you can't make that date and time.

The project is a very short student film looking for an actor to play JOHN, a tough guy mobster type put in an awkward situation.
This should be a fun and exciting project and an excellent portfolio piece.
Plus, the shoot won't take very long (about 11am-2pm).
The position is unpaid, but you will receive credit and a copy of the finished film, and your food and transportation costs for the shoot would be covered.
