Editor / Post-Production Needed

Hello!
I am looking for someone who is interested in updating my current Ellipsis Entertainment ident.
I want to keep the same design, with the color bars, just give it a little more. It is very 2D, without any depth, making it feel flat. Looking at other production company idents, I feel it may need to feel a little more 3D and/or have some lighting effects. I'm not totally sure what it is that I am looking for; I do like the current ident, I think it just needs a little more graphic depth. If anyone is interested in playing with this, feel free! I am looking for any help I can get!

Our internship is primarily based on learning the basics of an assistant editor. This includes organizing, digitizing, and switching decks to prepare footage for the Editor in Avid Media Composer HD/SD. Laying off masters when a project is completed to tape, web, and dvd w/menu - and entering all source files and masters to our Filemaker tape database. Also, an intern learns to make custom dvd's for the sales team at short notice using DVD studio Pro and Adobe Photoshop. We also provide access to Adobe After Effects. There are lots of other software programs to be learned in between.

We are looking for someone to assist the editor in sound correction for a low-budget feature shot in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Required work on sound would be foley (library sounds are fine), some minor dialog cleanup (most is ADR) and adding some ambient sound to smooth over edits. Music has been chosen and will be provided. We aren't able to pay much but may be able to compensate depending on the amount of work and resulting quality of the soundtrack. We are ideally looking for someone seeking to build their resume.

Hi. This is Seng and I am looking for additional editors to join the postproduction team of "the CLEAR". A full length Independent feature which recently shot in S. NH during the Summer of 2009 and will wrap production later on this year.
Editors must own a Mac and Final Cut Studio. While there is no actual upfront pay we can create an agreement that will ensure you get either deferred payment or backend points. This project is being looked at by big name distribution companies.

Looking for creative film person to film/video and later edit recording of Argentine tango performances with Chamber Orchestra of Boston for "Romance and Tango" show 2/12/10. You need your own equipment, you are able to capture expressive dancing without interrupting live performance. You'll work with dancers for post production editing to result in 1)archival video and 2) three minute promotional piece.

There is already some source music in the film, however there's still a lot more room for you to be creative with the score.
Even though it is unpaid, like our last film, we will get a lot of exposure for the documentary.

Documentary filmmaker David Sutherland (credits include PBS/Frontline smash hits THE FARMER'S WIFE and COUNTRY BOYS) is in production on a national primetime series about an Oglala Sioux woman in North Dakota, struggling to raise her family and fulfill her dreams.
Assistant Editor duties include digitizing, media management, Script Syncing and completing a complex process of syncing audio and video tracks. Must have extensive knowledge of AVID Media Composer and AVID media management.

Independent 30 minute narrative film is in need of a score. Ideally a composer would be local in Boston so s/he can sit down with the director and discuss options. While a low/no pay job, the film will be submitted to festivals so it is a great opportunity for those looking to get their work heard. Work needs to begin ASAP.

Need Post-Production Editor and Sound Editor. Also am looking for a musical composer. Looking at all experience levels. Must be highly competitive in terms of compensation. This is a low budget Feature.

Full time intern needed for small shop in cambridge. We do 80% post work and 20% production work. This is an unpaid position but you will learn a ton and meet a lot of key players in the Boston video scene. Desired skills: Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop, Camera Work, Lighting. As an intern, I don't expect you to be great at ALL of these things, but I do expect you have some level of experience with them.

We are located in Beverly (near commuter rail). We are looking for a motivated, creative, detail oriented person that can follow directions. It's the kind of internship that the more you put in the more you get out. You will organize media, answer phones, create graphics/effects, editing, color correction, lay in soundfx, putting together production packages for shoots, research. If you want to really learn about post production and the art of editing then you'll probably want to be an intern here.
