The Wing

Seon Young Kil was born in Seoul, Korea. She graduated in EWHA Women University with BA degrees in philosophy and art history. After graduating, she attended Ringling School of Art and Design as an illustration student, then transferred to Vancouver Film School to learn 3D. She finished the 3D animation diploma course with her first film Where Do the Lost Umbrellas Go?. She received her MFA as an experimental animation student from the California Institute of Art. The Wing is her second film. She now works and lives in LA.
