This is C-16's third written/directed/produced short film entitled “Can You Hear Me?” which will be shot the weekend of March 23rd in Boston, MA. Stellar cast, cinematographer, and AD in place, and now looking to fill final crew positions for the shoot.
This is a small heavy acting piece so we are keeping the crew small to keep actors comfortable. Will be a close-knit fun experience.

I am a senior student filmmaker at Northeastern University in the process of putting together a cast and crew for my final short film project that will be shot in mid-March. I am looking for a lead actress in the age group 40-60 who will play a woman diagnosed with terminal cancer and is dealing with reaching the end of her life. Emerson College BFA thesis project, In The Chamber, is looking for 12-18 year old males. The actors will be playing middle/high-school kids playing a dice game in our film noir. Project will be shot on Saturday, February 11th. If interested, please send a headshot.

Interlock Media, a nonprofit production company in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a volunteer apprentice editor. This position will give the opportunity to work on long-term, blue chip documentaries, as well as on high-velocity, quick-turnaround projects, and involve regular critiques, helping to quickly improve editing skills.
Qualifications: Applicant should be proficient in Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer, with 3+ years editing experience.
Preferred: Applicants who can bring in their own editing system. Offsite work is not ideal, but can be discussed if necessary.

LANA (age 20-25) is a pretty, uptight, hardworking young woman who gets a surprise visit from her younger brother. She learns to loosen up and appreciate her brother throughout an evening of misadventures.
The film will be shooting between March 22-April 5. Auditions will be held at BU on February 13.
