Characters: Noah 37- father of Kayla, his way of dealing with the stress of his daughters terminal illness is obsessing over her funeral.
Claire 32- mother of Kayla, in denial over the fate of Kayla,
Kayla 7- Cancer-stricken daughter of Noah and Claire
Lydia 12- Noah's older sister who died of cancer as a child, wise and resigned.
Young Noah 9- The younger version of Noah.
