Using rare archival imagery and audio, this compelling memoir presents one man's search for community and his God. Through personal recollections, it explores cultural differences between a Mexican father and a North American mother in the face of death, and the struggle between remembrance and forgetting. Trout is an outlaw biker who goes on a crime spree in order to pay child support. He is released from prison, burns down a bike shop, starts an escort service, then hires an unsanitary veterinarian to stitch up his wounds. Can a deranged cop throw him back in the slammer before he splits town? Watch team alternates Vitamin Jones and Colonel Fabien as they are called into action to represent America in this newly indoctrinated sport once thought to be a game only for pool-party youngsters. This stereotype-shattering documentary gets inside the minds and dreams of a developmentally-disabled married couple living and working in New York City. Their story, filmed by a sister, reveals contrasting perspectives on their lives. It challenges ideas about "intelligence" and what it means to be human -- without being saccharine or condescending.
