I mainly work as a Script Supervisor as I have found it to be my niche in the industry. My long term goal is to screenwrite and direct, but for now my current occupation should serve you well as I keep getting better at it one production at a time.I make the script logs and production reports on Excel and at the end of each week, I email the a copy of the script log to the production company in Excel format. I usually ask for the script to be emailed to me before production starts. Upon receiving it, I print it out, count the number of pages, print out a certain number of script logs to go on the back of each page, and pack a few production reports for each week. This is all kept in a three-ring binder. I usually need to know the medium that is being used to record the feature ahead of time. This dictates how I format the script log. If it's on HD and uses timecode, I make two columns for starting and ending timecode. If it's being recorded on a hard drive, I make a column for the file name. If it's being recorded on a film roll, I make two columns for starting and ending footage number. My experience is also as a Production Assistant, Editor, and I was an Editing & Graphic Design Workshop Instructor in the summer of 2006 for a drama camp. As an Editor, I have also edited a two hour feature made by the camp that summer.I've taken classes on how to use Avid, Media100, and Adobe Premiere and I have used them outside of class as well. Right now I have Sony Vegas on my computer. I have a college degree in cinema and video production and I am a full time freelancer. The best representation of all that I can do with the degree I have can be found on www.dlarsen.com/media/jonathan. I wrote the script, found my crew, wrote down the interview questions, loaded the 16mm cameras used, and filmed and edited the project myself. If you want to learn more about me off the set, my other sites are www.xanga.com/OnlineMongol, www.myspace.com/breakeverymold, and you can check out two music videos I made with Sony Vegas on www.youtube.com/user/kjarkas
