Hygienic Art Screening Room 16 01/31-02/14/09 Call for entries!

The Screening Room is New London’s premier indie film festival featuring works from both emerging and established filmmakers. As with the art show itself, there will be no judge, no jury, no entry fee and no censorship! Whether you are a student, at-home video visionary or working professional, this is the venue for any independent filmmaker to have their work seen. Every year brings new creative visions – ranging from regional shorts and animations to feature length films.
Premiere day may be full of surprises – don’t miss it!
Admission to all screenings is free.
All filmmakers are encouraged to submit their work (DVD format is preferred) to Hygienic Screening Room 16 c/o Hygienic Filmwerks, PO Box 417, New London, CT. 06320 or drop off at the gallery during regular hours.

The Screening Room is part of the annual Hygienic Art show - now in it's 30th year - and is southeastern Connecticut's premier arts event of 2009. Two weeks of art, music, fashion, theater and of course: Indie Film!
