The Museum of Fine Arts, one of the most prestigious art museums in
the world, will host an incredible event showcasing Boston University
student films.

"Boston University Student Films" will take place at the MFA on
Thursday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m. The line-up includes six short
films from different genres. Many are award winners that have screened
at significant film festivals.

This program was conceived and curated by Bo Smith, the long-time
director of the MFA's film program, and will be held inside the
illustrious 650-seat Remis Auditorium.

STUDENT FILMS INCLUDE:

A Simple Taste by Jac Woods (2008, 15 min.). A clever tale about a
note written on a napkin that catches the attention of everyone who
reads it.
Just Like It Was by Will Lautzenheiser (2008, 15 min.). Winner of a
2008 CINE Golden Eagle award, the story follows the relationship of a
blue-collar New England couple whose marriage reaches a breaking
point.
Exhibit "A" by Erik Scanlon (2008, 7 min.). A pseudo-documentary about
a man preparing to commit suicide.
Detained by Jenny Alexander (2008, 28 min.). A powerful documentary
about the New Bedford immigration raid.
Welcome Home, Patrick by Brielle Murray (2008). In this political
satire, a soldier returns home from Iraq with just his head.
Werewolf Trouble by Charlie Anderson (2008, 9 min.). In this hilarious
film, a werewolf fails to turn back into his human form
