International LGBT Film Fest

An impressive variety of award-winning short films, including comedy, drama, and animation, from six different countries, telling stories about love, relationships, acceptance, politics, and family. For film descriptions go to www.OutForReel.org. Teens are welcomed.

Stories range from fun-loving Australian LGBT tango dancers to a South Korean sister befriending her transgendered sister, to an inspiring South African lesbian activist, to gay men falling in love in a fairy tale, to women of different classes falling in love unexpectedly in a salsa class in Germany, to older women delightfully discovering love again in France, to high school students on their first lesbian date. Teens are welcomed.

Info: Out! For Reel, based in Northampton, MA, screens the best in first run, award-winning lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender films from around the world on a monthly basis during a ten month season, beginning each year in September. Over 5000 people from all over New England have attended OFR events in the last year.
