How can I get sponsors & or funding for my sitcom, which is about to debut Nationally.

Posted in

Hey guys,
My name is Crosby Tatum, and I am the Executive Producer/CEO of Triceptus Studios, a film & entertainment production company in Hyde Park, MA. I need your help and your input on a matter I'm making public right now.

I am the Co-Producer/Director/Creator on a female-driven sitcom entitled All 4our One, a witty tale that showcases the lives of a mixed-race female, her multi-racial female friends, her womanizing boss, and her freeloading half-brother. Our trailer was selected to be a part of Boston Film Night earlier this year, and a national television network called on our doors liking our pilot.

HOWEVER, the network stated that they are a distribution network, and dont offer deals, meaning, I have to find someone to either sponsor our series, or find a financier/Executive Producer to help fund the series for 6 -13 episodes for our first season. The network is in 19 million homes nationwide. We already have 6 half-hour episodes developed, 3 episodes already scripted, one pilot shot, we also have a business plan and advertising proposal, along with a press kit, and the big advertisers (Loreal, Southwest, and many others) haven't gotten back to me, or either said no.

I NEED YOU GUYS'S INPUT AND DIRECTION ON THIS BECAUSE THIS CAN BE A MONUMENTAL OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A FUN, DIVERSE SERIES SHOT AND PRODUCED HERE IN THE MASSACHUSETTS AREA AND WE DON'T WANNA WASTE THIS CHANCE WHEN THE BALL IS IN OUR HANDS. If you guys have any input and you want me to send you our materials, my email is crosbyt@triceptus.com and my phone number is 857-891-7744. Please help out a fellow Hollywood East Producer who is on the cusp of something big. Thank you in advance. BTW: here is the trailer of the series, right here:

funding

You have a distributor for the series, then use that for getting the funding. Also, what is the distribution deal, is it for TV or the net, where are they taking it. As for funding, look for a smaller sponsor or sponsors, how about local banks in the area the series will show or any other medium size business that can benefit from your show through product placement or advertising(car dealership)(utility company). The big boys right now are not spending money due to the recession. The distribution deal will get you funding, you need to let your sponsors know how they benefit from it. as for a business plan, and such, great, yet, sell yourself and passion for the project, they want to know they can trust you and know you are the guy to get it done. Oh, and rework the budget, cut it down even more, bring it in frugal as possible, The bottom line is, your sponsor wants to make money on this, that's what they do, they are a business. show them how they profit.
