You’ve Got to Have One. If you're not online, you're not working. Technology has changed everything about the casting process. This short course covers the use of technology in managing your job search including: demo. reel do's and don'ts, editing requirements, length, and content and what to leave on the cutting room floor. We will also show you how to get your domain name web site registered and use templates to get yourself online.

HESTER SCHELL, MFA is a master acting teacher, director, writer and producer. Her book, CASTING REVEALED: A Guide for Independent Filmmakers will be published this year by Michael Wiese Productions (wpm.com). Teaching includes colleges and universities in California including De Anza College, Notre Dame de Namur University, the San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking and the Film Arts Foundation. She recently directed for the Provincetown Playwrights' Festival and her short play, A CUP OF COFFEE premiered in the New England Russian Theatre Festival, where she also directed two pieces. Another play is a finalist with the Vermont Repertory Theatre's annual Nor'Easter playwriting competition. Also an accomplished filmmaker and actor, her films have played festivals. She is the CEO of Bay Area Casting News (www.bayareacasting.com). She is a member of Harvard Square Screen Writers, Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists.
