Advanced Acting for Commercials

Posted in
Cost:
$299

This class, taught by Ann Baker, is for advanced actors who want to improve their audition technique, develop new deliveries, master cold copy reading, and be more competitive in the market. This is the RIGHT class with the RIGHT teacher and will make you a master of commercials! You may no longer be getting those auditions you used to get...or you are getting some, but others are slipping away and you don’t know why. Are your skills rusty? Have bad habits crept in to your delivery? Do you even have more than one delivery? Have you forgotten how to look at copy and ask the questions that need to be answered to be believable? This class will reverse such problems and take you to the top of the heap!

Working in film, television, and theatrical communities, Ann Baker is a seasoned casting director with over 30 years of experience. For 11 years she ran her own full-service organization, Ann Baker Casting, where she cast the PBS series Jean Shepard’s America, PBS award-winning Concealed Enemies, and Spencer for Hire as well as many movies of the week, feature films, and national and international commercials. She is a recognized leader in the development of the industrial film market and has worked with producers from Digital, General Electric, Raytheon, and the AMA. Ann specializes in Presentation Coaching as well as beginner and advanced on camera commercial technique.

“ I’ve got to say taking the advanced commercial class with Ann Baker really freed me up to be more creative and innovative with choices and to have several choices available to the client; she’s right they do love it!” – Gigi Cochrane
