$8/Advance, $10/Day of Show; $5/Students and Regent Members

Director Phil Grabsky’s film In Search of Mozart broke box office records in the United States in 2006 and became one of the highest grossing documentaries in Australia and New Zealand. Following closely in its footsteps came Grabsky’s enthralling sequel, In Search of Beethoven, filmed in glorious High Definition and winner of the Gold Plaque for Direction at the 2010 Chicago Hugo Awards.
Due to popular demand, and following on the success of his recent sell-out worldwide tour, award-winning filmmaker, Phil Grabsky, is returning to the USA for a series of EXCLUSIVE screenings in key locations (including New York, Washington DC, Kansas City, Boston, Chicago and LA), throughout March, April and May 2011, allowing classical music fans yet another opportunity to catch these compelling films about the Great Composers - this time in the company of the director, who will take questions from the audience about the making of these films.

We are delighted that In Search of Mozart (1hr version) will be screened at The Regent Theatre, 7 Medford Street, Arlington MA, on Sunday April 10, at 7:00pm including Q&A with director, Phil Grabsky. Showing the one-hour version of the Mozart film, plus clips from In Search of Beethoven, Phil Grabsky will also reveal exclusive footage from his upcoming, not-yet-released films, In Search of Haydn and In Search of Chopin.

With both In Search of Mozart and In Search of Beethoven, Grabsky brings together the world’s leading performers of classical music to create a visual extravaganza supported by a first-class soundtrack. His films deliver a compelling and accurate portrayal of the masters behind the music, capturing their human vulnerabilities and weaknesses, as well as their creative genius.
