Experimental theater production entitled, "Little Topsy and the Magical Soap" is in search of a young female actress for February 25th, 2012. This performance will be taking place at Lesley University and is a part of an upcoming conference on for women of color.
Actress must be slender and under 5' 5". Must be comfortable with movement and with performing in front of a live audience.
Dance background or experience is preferred.

Seeking for a male actor to fill the role of a grandfatherly storyteller.
Must be comfortable performing live on stage -- This is a theater piece and is approximately 45 minutes long.
Little Topsy and the Magical Soap is the visual portrayal of a storybook read to the audience by a kindly, grandfatherly character called The Narrator.

The date of the performance is February 25, 2012. Must be available for rehearsals--familiarity, but not total memorization of the text will be necessary.

Synopsis:
Amy and David are two young lovers facing an unexpected pregnancy have to decide whether to have an abortion or get married. They choose to have an abortion, but David never shows up at the clinic. Ten years later, they meet again.
Requirements:
Must be able to attend a two hour rehearsal at least once a week.
This film will be done in a semi-improvisational way. The actors will be involved in script development during the rehearsal process.

TOUCH, an Emerson student film, is looking for a Mexican/LatinAmerican actress (20-35) and a Asian actor (16-28).
ISABELLA (20-35), Mexican/Latino, who had bad memories in her childhood and came to the States. She goes to a massage house and starts to seeing her heart again through the deep conversation with the blind masseur.
LIN (16-26), blind Chinese who came to the states when he was 11. He loves imagining the world and shows Isabella a different angle to see the world.

This Friday, February 10th, a 3-4 minute short film is shooting in Brookline. The film is one shot, and the shoot will only take 2 hours at the most, at 5PM. The pay is $85.
