About Boston University Film and Television Department

Boston University's Film and Television School is housed within the College of Communication. With about 300 undergraduate and graduate students each year, BU Film/TV is one of the top film and television schools in New England. Courses range from production to screenwriting to editing to new media and on. Alumni of the program have achieved success in all areas of the industry, from Hollywood to New York to abroad. The department also has a successful LA Program where students can spend a semester in Los Angeles, gaining valuable insights into the business and holding prestigious internships.
